BLM-S 系列-SLD高功率宽带光源模块是稳定和可靠的光源，是本公司最高功率和带宽的SLD模块。一个“PILOT”系列电流和温度控制器用于驱动一个SLD模块。一个偏振无关的光隔离器保护SLD模块免受光反馈的损伤。
这个模块必须由高可靠性的+9V/2A直流电源供电，电源具有很低的纹波和噪声。
所有标准的BLM-S 系列光源模块的SLD发射都能够由连接到背面板的调制输入(SMA)信号源调制，调制率达到50KHz。
特殊光源指定的输出功率在附带FC/APC-FC/APC光缆的光源的端面测量。
